Your selective program is your reputation. Put it on a platform, not a photocopier.
Selective and scholarship families pay for one thing: a result on one day. Your practice papers, your timed sets and your reading and reasoning material are what they're buying. Give them the six days between sessions too, and give the parent proof every fortnight in the run-up.
The week most centres are running.
- The season is short and intense
Families enrol in the months before the test and want to see movement every week. Paper can't show it.
- Timed practice is the whole game
But timing, marking and collating paper tests eats the tutor's week.
- Parents are anxious and comparing
They're on the forums. They want numbers. Silence reads as nothing happening.
- Your papers are your edge
Years of practice sets tuned to the test. They must not leak, and they must not sit in a drawer either.
Add 3/4 and 2/5. Give your answer in simplest form.
You can't add fifths to quarters directly. Find a denominator both share: 20. So 3/4 becomes 15/20 and 2/5 becomes 8/20. 15/20 + 8/20 = 23/20, which is 1 3/20.
Same classes. Same material. A different Monday.
- 1Saturday, after class
Assign a timed reasoning set and a reading set, due Wednesday. On the clock, on their phones.
- 2Sunday to Wednesday
Students sit the sets timed. Marked instantly. Stuck on a question type? A worked example from your paper.
- 3Thursday
You see accuracy by question type across the cohort and the students slipping on timing.
- 4Every second Friday
Parents get a report: accuracy by component, trend since enrolment, what's next before test day.
Who this is built for.
- Practice papers with keys
Reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills, writing. Your own sets, in your own sequence.
- Cohorts on a timeline
Year 4 for OC, Year 6 for Selective, Year 8 for select-entry, scholarship rounds. Classes are named by test and date.
- Owners who protect their material
Isolation per centre means your papers are never shared with another centre.
The material centres like yours usually start with.
- Timed practice papers by component
- Reading passages with questions
- Mathematical reasoning sets
- Thinking skills sets
- Writing prompts and criteria
Typed documents, clean PDFs and decent scans convert best. We flag anything that won't before it's converted.
From selective and scholarship prep we've talked to.
Can it time a paper the way the real test does?
Writing tasks can't be marked automatically. What happens?
Priced so a few retained students pays for it.
One setup fee, one monthly fee, everything included in every plan. Not per student, because we want every student on it.
