Opportunity Class

The NSW placement test sat in Year 4 for Year 5 and 6 opportunity classes.

In New South Wales, opportunity classes are academically selective classes for Years 5 and 6 in government primary schools. Entry is by a placement test sat in Year 4. Preparation for it brings Year 3 and 4 families into Sydney centres, often as the first step toward Selective preparation in Year 6.
